07 Days - 06 Nights
Day 01 – Arrival in Negombo

Your wellness escape begins with your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport. From there, you will be transferred to Villa Hundira, a peaceful hideaway in Negombo. Overlooking serene lagoon waters, this charming villa offers the perfect place to unwind from your travels, with gentle breezes and quiet corners to begin slipping into a slower rhythm.

Day 02 – Journey to Digana via Kandy

Travel toward the hill country, stopping in Kandy to receive blessings at the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most venerated Buddhist sites. The energy here is tranquil and grounding.
Then continue to Rukgala Retreat, nestled in the village of Digana by a peaceful lake. This intimate wellness sanctuary welcomes you with gentle hospitality and the embrace of nature. Settle in for a nourishing dinner and prepare for the days of restoration ahead.

Day 03 – Yoga, Meditation Caves & Climbing

Start the day with a morning yoga session in the open-air shala. Later, take a guided walk to the ancient meditation caves of Bambaragala, where monks have found silence for centuries. The walk invites stillness; the caves offer awe. You’ll also have the opportunity to gently climb the surrounding rock faces for panoramic views that deepen the sense of presence.
In the evening, return for a restorative yoga practice, followed by wholesome dining under the stars.

Day 04 – Yoga, Paddle Boarding & Massage

Awaken to another yoga flow as the mist dances across the lake. Later, take to the water with a paddleboarding session—an active, playful way to engage your balance and connect with the natural world.
In the afternoon, indulge in a full-body massage with Rukgala’s locally-trained therapist, who uses native herbs and oils to melt away tension. Your evening ends with a slow yoga stretch and deep sleep wrapped in quiet.

Day 05 – Transfer to Galle

Say goodbye to the hills and head south to Galle. After the long but scenic drive, arrive at Niyagama House—a yoga retreat nestled within a working tea estate. Spend the evening resting, sipping herbal tea, and enjoying the comforts of your new home in nature.

Day 06 – Hatha Vinyasa & Meditation in Galle

Begin your morning with a Hatha Vinyasa yoga class in the open pavilion surrounded by tea fields. The setting alone feels meditative.
Later, join a guided meditation and relaxation session, or opt for an additional private yoga class tailored to your needs. The rest of the day invites stillness, gentle reading, journaling, or simply watching the wind play with the tea leaves.

Day 07 – Departure

After one final nourishing breakfast, your driver will take you to the airport. You leave not just rested, but transformed, your body lighter, your heart steadier, and your spirit in tune with a quieter kind of joy.
